SF City Impact Holiday Outreaches
On every Thanksgiving and Christmas since 2014, GLIFY families have participated in the SF City Impact Outreach, helping underprivileged people in the San Francisco Tenderloin District. We prepare food, deliver meals to low-income residents, host a carnival for children, distribute groceries and used clothes. After volunteering, we not only were thankful for the opportunity to help others on that special day, but also had a deeper appreciation for what we have. This experience helps us have a better understanding of society and have more empathy for unfortunate people.
