Laryn Qi
Laryn Qi is a junior at Foothill High School in Pleasanton, California. He has served as a GLI member for the past three years and is currently a Webmaster. Additionally, he is a member of the GLI-affiliated band, 7 pM, performing at various events all over the bay area. Outside of GLI, Laryn enjoys drumming.
Rena Gong
Rena Gong is currently a sophomore at Amador Valley High School. She has been part of GLI for 3 years and has served the role of Volunteer Coordinator previously. Outside of GLI, she takes interest in reading and witty humor and hopes to find inventive ways to help others using her skills.
Angela Chu
Angela is currently a junior at Dublin High School. She is currently one of the event reporters for the 2017-2018 school year, serving as the art designer for the previous year. She has been a member of GLI since 2015. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, playing badminton, and surfing the web.
Shannon Yan
Shannon Yan is a senior at Granada High School in Livermore, California. She has been a part of Global Leadership Initiative, serving as former Co-president, Secretary, and VP of Marketing, and is now the current Senior Advisor. She has participated and led many events in GLI such as the cookie sale, Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program, and Alameda Big Bike Build. In addition to Global Leadership Initiative, Shannon is involved in Math Club, Science Bowl, DECA, and Girls Who Code at her school. In her free time, Shannon enjoys reading, eating, graphic design, and giving back to her community.

Jason Lai
Jason Lai is currently a sophomore at Monte Vista High School in Danville, California. He is currently the Global Leadership Initiative Project Manager and has been a part of Global Leadership Initiative for four years. Jason has participated in the cookie fundraiser, San Francisco City Impact, and GLI talent show. He also is a part of the GLI band. In his free time, he loves to play basketball and plays for his high school team. He also enjoys spending time with friends and playing football.
Christina Yin
Christina Yin is a senior at Monte Vista High School. She has been a part of GLI since 10th grade. She is currently a project coordinator, mainly in charge of video production for GLI events. She has been the video editor for the past two annual GLI Talent Shows. Christina enjoys documentary as well as narrative filmmaking. Her favorite GLI events are the volunteer workdays with Living Arroyos in Livermore.
Roy Lin
A sophomore at Dublin High School, Roy Lin is Global Leadership’s current Vice President of Operations and Management. Now having been in the organization for three years, he strives to help expand from his predecessors and continue to reach the vision of Global Leadership Initiative: help create volunteer opportunities for teenagers for benefiting the community as a whole.

Darron Dai
Darron Dai is a junior at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, California. He has served as a a GLI officer in multiple other positions, including Treasurer and VP of Operation and Development. Darron has been involved in GLI since middle school, and has participated in numerous GLI volunteering events such as the GLI Talent Show. He has also lead many GLI projects; he has organized volunteer groups for Alameda County Fair Volunteering, as well as a GLI band which performs regularly around the community. Another project Darron organized was Living Arroyos, where volunteers would take care of wildlife around the Arroyo Del Valle Creek with the help of other nature enthusiasts. During his free time, Darron enjoys watching movies and playing guitar.

Kevin Gao
Kevin Gao is a senior at Amador Valley High School. He is currently the senior adviser of Global Leadership Initiative (GLI).. Formerly, he has acted as the Co-President, VP of Operation and Development, and the Webmaster. Since 2013, he has been involved and led GLI activities such as SF City Impact, Math Club, Web Design, Talent Show, Cookie Fundraiser, and College Forum,. Kevin also spearheaded GLI participation with Open Heart Kitchen to help the elders. At school, Kevin has involved many clubs such as Debate and Speech, Science Olympiad, Engineering, and Math club. He has also started his own club-Chemistry club. He likes playing Basketball and Water Polo.. In spare time, Kevin enjoys designing game and 3D modeling.. He loves to read, and learn about a wide variety of topics to broaden his horizons.
Jonathan Ye
Jonathan Ye is a junior at Amador Valley High School. He has been a part of GLI for several years, and last year held the position of reporter. Some of the work that he has as a member of GLI includes MCing for the Mental Health Seminar and helping organize a Winter Writing contest to encourage GLI members to write and express themselves. Jonathan is also a competitive swimmer and is on his high school’s varsity team. Some of his interests include engineering, technology, photography, and movies. He is looking forward to serving in GLI for another year.
Justin Wang
Justin Wang is a freshman at Dougherty Valley High School. He joined GLI in 2013, and is currently the Secretary. Justin is an accomplished pianist and loves to use music for volunteering. He performs in the GLI band to seniors and the larger community. He also performs the piano to various audiences.
Nanxiang Wang (Winnie)
Nanxiang Wang (Winnie), is a senior in Foothill High School. He joined GLI in 2014. Since the past three years, he has participated in many of GLI’s volunteer activities, such as Christmas Gift wrapping, city impact, cookie sale, and alameda county fair. He enjoys playing piano, percussion , especially coding. He has been studied a few computer programming languages such as Java, Python and C++. He will be very happy to contribute his computer skills to make GLI website more attractive and let more and more people knows GLI and become its members and serve our society better.
Kevin Li
Kevin Li is a sophomore at Dublin High School, and is the treasurer for Global Leadership Initiative. He has been a GLI member since 2016, and has since participated in San Francisco City Impact, the Talent Show, the Cookie sale, and the college seminar. Kevin is interested in engineering, specifically computer science. In his free time, he browses the internet, plays tennis, and volunteers.
Andrew Wang
Andrew Wang is currently a junior attending Amador Valley High School. His position at Global Leadership Initiative this year is VP of Marketing & Planning. In his spare time, Andrew likes to play tennis, code, and to read. He's looking forward to using his skill assets to help GLI grow and improve this year!

Ashley Zhuang
Ashley Zhuang is currently a junior at Granada High School. She has been dedicated to Global Leadership Initiative since middle school and has formerly held the positions of Secretary and VP of Public Relations and Community Affairs. Her most proud accomplishments as a part of GLI have been starting the Holiday Wish Drive in 2015, leading GLI's work involving Friends of Children with Special Needs, and creating the GLI Scholarship in China. She has also organized and MCed for our annual GLI Talent Show. Outside of GLI, Ashley enjoys dance and cheer and is involved with her school's CyberPatriot Club, Girls Who Code Club, Math Club, and Science Bowl Club.

Eric Luo is a sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School. He is the current Vice President of Human Resources. Eric has been a member of GLI for 4 years and is in his 2nd year as an officer. He currently is an active member of his school's speech and debate team and the tennis team. He also enjoys to make videos and play football with his friends.
